Llanrwst Town Council
You are: The Council > Our Town Clerk
Our current Clerk is Ross Morgan.
Born in the Rhondda valley of South Wales, Ross has lived here in Llanrwst since 1987 and took up the post of Town Clerk in 2016.
Ross has brought a wealth of local government expertise to the position of Town Clerk, gained in mainly corporate and strategic roles with authorities at all levels of local government in South and North Wales. There are indeed very few areas of local government services and work where he has not had significant involvement during his career to date.
Ross was for many years an advisor to the Welsh Local Government Association and other bodies, both regional and U.K. wide and was a mentor for the national programme developing the next generation of local government managers. He was also an examiner and advisor within his professional discipline (Human Resources) for his professional body, universities and colleges across the U.K.
For a number of years prior to taking up the position as our Clerk, Ross ran his own business, providing transformational change consultancy, employment relations and high level project support services to a number of public sector bodies and private businesses both in England and Wales.
As Town Clerk, Ross also fulfils the role of Administrator to the Charity of Richard James (the Crafnant Trust) and to the Charity of Sir John Wynn of Gwydir.
