TOWN CLERK & RESPONSIBLE FINANCIAL OFFICER

Salary: circa £30,000 p.a (full-time, permanent appointment)

The Town Council is a forward-looking local council located in a historic market town and community in the Conwy Valley.

We are seeking a highly organised, experienced, and community aware individual to undertake this key role which is accountable for a range of statutory duties and the day to day organisation and management of the Council’s activities, staff, assets and finances.

The job demands an individual who is able to think and act strategically and manage in a complex environment; someone with good leadership and interpersonal skills; has well developed i.t. skills and who has experience of financial management.

Whilst challenging, this post will provide the successful candidate with an excellent opportunity to build on the sound foundations already in place at the Council and fulfil our aspirations to develop further as a key “player” within Conwy county and the wider local government family within Wales.
